For my parishioners who went home with blessed chalk from this evening's mass but not an "instruction sheet", the form of the inscription (to be written on the front door-frame of your house) is thus:

The initials refer, of course, both to the three wise men (Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar) and to "Christus Mansionem Benedicat" - May Christ bless this house. If you are part of our far-flung "cyber-parish" (like in Canon City, Colorado, whoever you are!), you could write me at janikowski AT grics.net and I will send you some blessed chalk! What a deal! Just remember to put the "@" symbol in place of the AT, ok?
And please remember, the parish Epiphany party starts at 6:30 tomorrow night (Thursday). Please bring an h'ors d'oeuvre to pass around.
