All Saints' Sunday - Grace Anglican Church is 150 Years Old!

The Rt. Rev. Edward MacBurney, SSC - the 7th Bishop of Quincy - was on hand to celebrate a Solemn High Mass and preach on Sunday, 1 Novemeber 2009 - our sesquicentenary celebration at Grace Church! It was a wonderful morning, and mass was followed by a gala brunch and reception!

Happy Birthday, Grace Anglican Church!

The Twentieth Sunday after Trinity - Stewardship

This is, to be honest, perhaps the longest I have ever preached - not to scare you off, as I think it goes pretty quickly, but I think you might want to go and get a cup of coffee or a nice spot of tea before you begin listening.

The Exaltation of the Holy Cross

I will hopefully record the homily tomorrow, but I just want to remind all of the family at Grace Parish that although we may face persecution and hatred, we do so for the sake of the Cross of Jesus Christ. Let us have that Cross impressed inwardly in our lives and expressed outwardly in our work - so that all might be drawn to our Lord who has been lifted high on the hard wood of the cross!

In Him we triumph! He is the ONLY way to the Father! The Cross of Christ is our battle flag! The Cross is our Ensign! In this sign we will conquer!! Alleluia!!
